KEYBOARDING INSTRUCTION





Keyboarding instruction is an important skill for all students.  Keyboarding involves using correct finger placement, eye hand coordination, finger isolation, visual skills, typing accuracy, good posture and speed. 

What Grade Level Should Keyboarding Be Taught?  Some evidence shows that fifth grade is the ideal time.  However, the fifth grade may be too late becasue there may be too many bad habits already engrained by that time.
