Understanding the Different Between the Psychic and the Medium By Carol Yurick, co-owner Golden Light We have, from time to time, psychics and mediums as guests at the center to do individual readings for clients. Many of you do not know the difference between a psychic and a medium and why they can be beneficial to your life. I will try and explain to you.... Neither should be used as a complete basis for your life. They are for information and guidance only. A reputable psychic or medium will validate things for you that have happened in the past and things that are happening in the present. If they can't do this, how would you know that any guidance they give you regarding your future would hold any weight at all? All mediums and psychics are screened by Carol before they are introduced to the public. Only those who have passed our screening and interview process are available at our facility.
Let's begin with a Medium... A simple explanation is that a medium is someone who talks to a person who has passed to the other side. That medium should be able to describe your loved ones from the spirit world and also to describe visually things around your home or family. In my personal experience, after my daughter was killed, I found much healing from talking with a reputable medium. It helped me to understand more about what happened when she was killed, and to be able to move on in my life, knowing that she is fine and happy where she is. The medium that I consulted, helped me to attain a closure that I wouldn't have gotten without her.
A Psychic... Someone who calles himself/herself a psychic is someone who has the ability to "read" you, attaining a mental connection to you. They will be able to read your energy field, and able to pick up many things that might help you to make informed decisions about life problems or challenges.
